Ultimate Decaf Mexico is comprised of coffee from a number of smallholder farmers, organized through Mexican decaffeination experts Cafiver, located in Ixtaczoquitlán, Veracruz. Beyond its role in coffee processing, Cafiver has invested in coffee-growing communities through initiatives supporting agronomic education, community infrastructure, and rural development. Cafiver has also been involved with Mexico’s Cup of Excellence, reflecting an ongoing connection to quality-focused Mexican coffee. Mexico’s coffee region is host to rich biodiversity and varied microclimates, driven by dramatic elevation changes. Diverse temperature zones and abundant rainfall create ideal conditions for prolonged, nuanced cherry development. The region’s volcanic soil, rich in minerals and organic matter, provides essential nutrients. Cafiver regularly samples coffees for this lot and has consistently produced remarkable quality. Much thanks goes to the farmers who started with meticulous hand-picking, ensuring only the ripest cherries are selected. This lots is also remarkable in that it features natural process, a technique where coffee dries within its fruit. This contributed to the big body that made this lot some of the best decaf coffee beans we’ve ever tasted.
