Fire damages our roasting collective

Our home in Long Island City, Regalia Roasting Collective was severely damaged by a fire that occurred afterhours. This was devastating to not only City Boy Coffee but all of the other coffee companies and roasters who belong to our community.

What This Means For City Boy

This is an evolving situation and we’re not sure what the future holds. However, we have some good news. Thanks to Joe Coffee Company, we have the opportunity to temporarily rent roasting space until the Regalia Collective is back up and going. However we will have to make a few changes to our operations until further notice:

  • Focus on Coffee World Tour: Our Coffee World Tour subscribers will continue to receive incredible coffees from around the world each month. However, we will not be able to roast the rotating selection of coffees that we’ve kept on our menu to satisfy those of you who’ve purchased by the bag. This means, until we are able to offer them again, our Decaf and other Single Origin coffees will not be available once the remaining stock is sold.
  • Fire Sale: We are placing all of the coffee added to the site before May 1st on sale and hope that you will consider picking some up as the funds will help us temporarily reallocate assets to advertising for Coffee World Tour as it will be our sole source of revenue for the time being.
