Fazenda São Domingos

Fazenda São Domingos
Mococa, São Paulo
Brazil

Relationship Established: 2024

Marco and Maria Guardbaxo’s farm, Fazenda São Domingos, is 790 acres, only slightly smaller than New York’s Central Park. Parts of it even feel like The Ramble, as 25% of the farm is designated as a natural reserve. Acquired in 2006 by Marco and Maria, this beautiful estate, has been meticulously nurtured to produce exceptional coffee. Since its acquisition, São Domingos has undergone extensive renovations, enhancing its cultivation of prominent coffee cultivars perfectly suited to the region. The farm boasts state-of-the-art facilities, managed by Ivan Cirino and Lucas Galdino Cirino, who lead a dedicated team of farmers.

Cooperativa La Asuncion

Familia Morales
San José Poaquil, Acatenango
Guatemala
Relationship Established: 2024

Senora Morales is the leader of the Cooperativa La Asunción, a collective of 25 men and women located in Guatemala’s Acatenango Valley, skilled in both farming and artistry, as they craft intricate weavings, vibrant textiles, and beautifully crafted ceramics alongside their renowned coffee. Senora Morales is the head administrator and represents the cooperative with Guatemalan exporting bodies. The coffee cherries were handpicked at peak ripeness, nourished by Fuego volcano’s mineral-rich ash, washed in the cooperative’s new wet mill, then patio dried where it is consistently raked into channels.
